Amsel and Co in alliance with Marksmen

In April 2007, Amsel & Co. formed a strategic alliance with Marksmen Inc, a leading specialist in intellectual property investigations.  Marksmen Inc. is based in North America with offices in China.  This alliance enhances Amsel & Co.’s investigative capability in North America, Canada and the Far East.


The Institute of Professional Investigators First Female Principal

At the Annual General Meeting of the Institute of Professional Investigators held at the Thistle Hotel, Manchester on 21st October, 2006, Nicola Amsel was elected the Institute’s first female Principal.

"I am honoured to have been elected the Institute’s first female Principal since its foundation in 1976. During my tenure, I will seek to raise the profile of the Institute inside and outside the professional investigation sector. An integral part of raising the Institute’s profile will be the continuing efforts to represent and promote the interests of the Institute in relation to Licensing.

"My aim is also to encourage participation of existing members in our educational programmes as well as attracting new members to the Institute. One of the tools to be used in achieving this aim is the implementation of a programme of distance learning courses. I am pleased to report that the development of this programme is already well under way."
