Nicola Amsel, a graduate in modern languages and politics, has worked in the investigation industry since 1981. During twelve years in a London firm, she extended the range of her investigative skills to include the exploration of intellectual property rights and associated sectors. Her professional experience and linguistic skills provide a firm foundation for the company's work in the United Kingdom and continental Europe.

Nicola regularly contributed lectures and workshops on the Nottingham University crash course for Litigators leading to the LLM and postgraduate certificates in Intellectual Property Litigation. She has also spoken at ITMA and CIPA events.

She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys.

Nicola was the first female principal of the Institute of Professional Investigators and following three years as Principal, was made a Life Member for services to the Institute.

Michael Green. His early career was in private legal practice in Manchester, thereafter in legal services management of a corporate utility where he specialised in civil litigation. He joined Amsel & Co. as a partner in 1996. He is a life Member of the World Association of Detectives.

Michael has addressed the Autumn Meeting of INTA in Washington DC speaking on successfully negotiating the acquisition of Domain Names, a topic on which he is regularly consulted. He has also addressed the Institute of Professional Investigators on Data Protection issues.
